Tuscany 7-Day Itinerary
A balanced week from a single villa base.
The biggest mistake on a Tuscan week is moving villa midweek — packing, unpacking, lost half-days. A single well-chosen villa in Chianti or southern Florence hills puts you within 90 minutes of everything worth seeing. Here is a rhythm that has worked for hundreds of guests.
Day 1 — Arrival and decompression
Land Florence, private transfer to villa (45–90 min). Pool, late lunch, walk the property. Dinner at the closest trattoria — the concierge books.
Day 2 — Florence
Early private driver in, 9am Uffizi, lunch at Trattoria Mario or Cibreino, afternoon Brancacci Chapel + Oltrarno walk, sunset aperitivo at Piazzale Michelangelo, dinner at Cammillo. Driver back to villa.
Day 3 — Slow countryside + cooking class
Cooking class at the villa or a nearby estate, 4–5 hours from 10am. Long lunch as the conclusion. Pool afternoon.
Day 4 — Chianti wine day
Two private vineyard appointments (one morning, one afternoon with lunch in between). Visit Greve or Panzano, gelato in the piazza.
Day 5 — Val d'Orcia loop
Drive to Pienza (1h15), pecorino tasting and walk. Lunch in Montepulciano. Brunello tasting in Montalcino. Sunset returning through the cypresses of San Quirico.
Day 6 — Siena + Crete Senesi
Siena 10am–14.00 — Piazza del Campo, Duomo, Pinacoteca, lunch. Return via Asciano and the Crete Senesi back roads. Quiet villa evening.
Day 7 — Departure morning
Lazy breakfast, last pool swim, transfer to Florence or Pisa airport. Late flights only — most flights from FLR leave after 15.00.
